I have been developing the spreads for the extended version of the football violence publication. The result will be a B+W printed tabloid. The spreads will continue with the swear symbol concept.
The decision that i have been making with spreads,
- Creating a sense of disorder within the pages, whilst maintaining a reading/practical order.
- Hierarchy between headings and quotes
- Aggressive
This page would work vertically to give it the disorder.
These below need developing so the torn page is distributed through the spread, this will let the page sit much more comfortable.
Dairy OF A Hooligan
I like how they pages capture the aggressive diary encounter but the text does not occupy enough space and becomes lost. This is one of the most aggressive stories in the book so the type needs to be much more chaotic, but again, still needs to maintain a reading order.
I like how order is restored on this page when the text references the police.
